2024-25 School/District Connections™ Opt-Out Form

Authorized school or district representatives should use this form to exclude their students from Connections™ for 2024-25 assessments. For additional information about Connections, see collegeboard.org/connections-tc. To opt out of Connections for 2023-24 assessments, please use this form.


Please complete the form below only if you are authorized to opt out your school or district from Connections or are completing the form on behalf of an authorized official. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Please submit this form prior to your school/district beginning any registration activities for your digital SAT® Suite of Assessments order.

After submitting this form, you will receive an email sent to the address provided above confirming your organization’s opt-out decision. College Board may contact your school or district administration about this opt out.

If you opt out:
  • You may revoke this opt-out election by contacting Customer Service at (866) 609-1369 or emailing sateducator@collegeboard.org;
  • Your students will not be able to opt in to Connections for the assessment(s) selected above going forward.
  • Your students will still be able to use the BigFuture® School app to receive scores and information from College Board about careers, scholarships, and college planning.

If a student had already opted-in to Connections before your completion of this opt-out form: 
  • The student’s data from the assessment(s) selected above will no longer be used for Connections upon College Board’s implementation of your opt out. 
  • The student’s data from assessment(s) not selected above may continue to be used for Connections and the student may still use the Connections feature within the BigFuture School app; and 
  • If you exclude your students from Connections for all of the above assessments, use of their student data for all of those assessments will cease in Connections upon College Board’s implementation of your opt out, the students will not receive any new messages, and any previously delivered messages may be still accessed by students.
