Data Subject Rights Request and Opt Out of Search

College Board respects your right to access, correct, and request erasure or restriction of your personally identifiable information as required by law. You may exercise these rights by submitting this form, contacting us via email at dataprotectioninquiry@collegeboard.org, or writing to us at the U.S. address: College Board, 250 Vesey Street, New York, NY 10281.

College Board also respects your right to opt-out of Student Search Service (Search). You can opt out of Search at any time by submitting this form, going to https://my.collegeboard.org/profile/privacy, by contacting us at 866-825-8051, or by email at SearchCustomerService@collegeboard.org

Please note that requests to delete an account must be submitted by the account holder. 


Student search service can be managed through collegeboard.org account by logging in to your account.
Please note: once you’re opted-out, we will immediately remove you from Student Search Service. Colleges who have already contacted you may continue to send you communications. If you’re continuing to hear from a program you’re not interested in, we recommend you opt out of that organization’s communications directly. You can typically opt out or unsubscribe from future mailings at the bottom of the college’s email or on their website. In addition, you have the right to request College Board to delete your personally identifiable information, which you may do on this form, via email at dataprotectioninquiry@collegeboard.org or writing us at the U.S. address: College Board, 250 Vesey Street, New York, NY 10281.
If the College Board deletes your data, you will no longer be able to access your account or any associated scores, send your scores, or view any other activity you may have taken with the College Board. Once your account data and associated scores are deleted, they cannot be reinstated. All deletions are final and permanent. 

For U.S. requesters (except Colorado residents), for legal and policy reasons, we are unable to delete your data.  However, we will close your online account, disconnect your account linking with our partners, and unsubscribe you from marketing communications and Student Search, if applicable.
